Light meters display light levels quickly and accurately in both
foot-candles or lux. They quickly define the amount of light
radiating from a source or measure the amount of light energy
illuminating an object or field. Light meters can help to reduce
the amount of waste light used in the office or home, measure
light pollution outdoors, and ensure proper light levels for work
levels.
